The last day of our project was also really busy, we spent it in Bucharest (although it took quite a long time to get there, we even had time to sleep in the bus).
The first thing we did when we arrived was visiting Assystem Bucharest, an aeronautical/ engineering enterprise, which works with planes circuits, safety programmes, car micro-computers, etc. We had a guided tour around the most important department. Our lunch was a catering on the Assysstem Bucharest’s canteen.
We visited the “ATN” (Ateneo), a really beautiful theatre build up in rose marble at the time when Bucharest was “the Paris of the east”.
While we were having a walk around the city centre, we bought some Romanian souvenirs.
We finally got to the airport hotel in the evening. It was really a very sad moment and everybody felt like crying. After all the kisses, hugs and farewells, we went to have dinner at a traditional restaurant (again!! But this time without any soup) and it was very good.
It was the perfect end for an unforgettable week in Rumania.
